The Corroboree Sandpiper is a well camouflaged leaf spirit bird, that I spotted out on its daily rounds, probing the mud and sand with its sensitive bill along the mottled biodiverse estuary of Mooball Creek amongst the mangroves. A shot taken in the afternoon as the sun was fading in the west.
